September 6- Wedding Day
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place at The Permanent Library Limited, located at 330 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC. For details about transportation options, check our FAQ page.
Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 p.m. You will
be welcome to enter the venue starting at 3:30 p.m.
The wedding ceremony will last approximately 40 minutes. Once the ceremony has concluded, cocktail hour will begin right away in the balcony of the venue, which is accessible via staircase. Cocktail hour will give you a chance to enjoy a drink and some delicious cheese and charcuterie ahead of dinner.
Dinner will be served after the conclusion of cocktail hour. Speeches will be interspersed throughout dinner. Once dinner has concluded, dancing begins!
We will open the dance floor with a couple of special dances, and thendancing will continue throughout the evening. Until 11 p.m., we will have traditional DJ dance music. After 11 p.m., we will shift into our “open decks” DJ party.
This will be your opportunity to dance and party to a soundtrack created by the Vancouver DJ scene present at the wedding, including (but not limited to) the members of Cool Underground Music and the groom himself!
Please note that once 11 p.m. hits, we will shift from a full bar into beer and wine service for the remainder of the event.
We plan on continuing the party until about 1:30 a.m., when the venue begins to close up. We hope you will join us to dance the night away!

September 7- The Day After
Starting at noon on Sunday, September 7, Chloe and Daniel will be posted up at Mount Pleasant Park just off of Main Street to enjoy some outdoors relaxation and socializing. We will be there at least until 3:00 p.m., and
we hope you will stop by and hang out for a while!
This is a very casual get-together. We will be providing a cooler with some soft drinks and a couple of snacks. It is a very short walk to Main Street, where you can find local coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores/convenience stores, and a liquor store (Brewery Creek) if you are interested in picking up some food or libations to enjoy at the park. Save-on Foods is the closest supermarket. For out of towners, exploring Main Street is a great activity to incorporate into the day!
We suggest bringing a beach towel or a camping chair if you prefer to sit on the grass. We will bring a few things to use as well.
At Mount Pleasant Park, there are a few picnic tables on the west side of the park near the basketball courts. You can find us posted up near these tables. We will have a pop-up tent for some shade if necessary. For restrooms, there are a couple of port-o-potties at the park, and there are also coffee shops with nice restrooms nearby on Main Street if you prefer.
(JJ Bean, Forecast Coffee, and Café Mira all have restrooms).
Mount Pleasant Park is across the street from our apartment, and is a favourite place of ours to spend time when the weather is nice. We’re looking forward to enjoying the space with some of our nearest and dearest.
