What about health and safety?
In the interest of our wedding not becoming a superspreader event, we ask all of our guests, and particularly those travelling from out of town, to please test for COVID ahead of coming to our wedding. In Canada, you can get COVID rapid tests for free at most pharmacies. Ask the concierge at your hotel for nearby pharmacy recommendations, or check Google Maps to find your closest Shoppers Drug Mart or London Drugs.

Can I bring my kids/grandparents/new boyfriend/dog?
Please understand that we can only accommodate invited guests listed on your invitation, unless we have made prior arrangements with you specifically.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?
We will be having a casual, outdoor get-together on Sunday, September 7, that all are welcome to join. Please refer to our Event Details page for more details, and check in for updates in the lead-up to our wedding.

How do I get to Vancouver? Where should I stay?
Please refer to our Travel Info page for information about travel, accommodations, and a list of activities to do while visiting Vancouver.

Is the venue accessible?
Yes, the main floor of the venue is wheelchair accessible, and there is an accessible washroom on the main floor. As the venue is in a historic building, the second floor (where we will be having our cocktail hour) is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. If you require arrangements for cocktail hour and accessibility, please send us an email and we will help coordinate arrangements.

Can I bring my own liquor/illegal substances?
No you cannot! If outside alcohol or illegal drugs are consumed on premises, you will be asked to leave by security (those are the rules according to the venue), and the entire event could be shut down. So please responsibly enjoy the open bar and don’t bring any illicit substances.

What about cannabis?
Cannabis is federally legal in Canada. You are welcome to partake in cannabis at least 6 meters away from the front door of the venue (those are the rules according to the law). Just don’t spoil your fun by greening out! A warning to the over 50 crowd: it’s stronger now than it was when you were in college.

What is the weather like at this time of year?
Early September is a beautiful time of year in Vancouver! You can expect temperatures between 15-25 degrees Celsius (about 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit). In Vancouver, there is always the risk of rain, so please plan accordingly.

Do you have a registry?
We are lucky to have all of the household items that we need, and will not be creating a registry. If you would like to give to our Newlywed Fund, details can be found in the Gifts/Info section. Thank you!
